In the age of facebook,twitter,yahoo,fanbox,etc.,it's easy to spend more time online chatting to "acquantances" than speaking to real friends.And when you do find the time to drop them a line/call,Ask yourself,are you being a good friend???


1.Being There:On this day of advanced technology,all are buzy.However,even how buzy we are,we can still type an email,send a text,or message someone in facebook and let them know we're thinking of them.If you plan to see friends,don't let them down.True friends still be there for each other in simple ways.

2.Sharing Secrets:Are you a kind that blabs after your friend has spoken to you in confidence?If ever you did that,make sure to acknowledge what you've done and apologize sincerely.Offer your friend all the things you want in friendships-loyalty,kindness,thoughtfulness and support.Remember,we're all allowed to make mistakes,just dont keep repeating them.

3.Giving Good Advice:Dishing out advice is not an exact science and sometimes cause more harm than any good.Most of the time.they already know what they need to do and just need someone to listen to them as they work it out.'So when in doubt,don't offer advice;offer understanding and support instead'.If they do want to listen your advice,remember what's right for you isn't necessarily right for them.Just make it clear that they need to make their own choices and take responsibility of themselves.By doing this,you will be helping not hendering them.

4 High And Not So Mighty:Whatever your friends did in the past,don't ever say,"I told you so".Instead of saying I told you so,just remember all the times that you were unable to be objective about your own issues.Remind your friend we're all human,we all make mistakes and it is really hard to be objective when the times are down.

5.Stop Interrupting:Good communication is a skill that involves 30 percent speaking and 70 percent listening.That's why we have two ears and only one mouth.

Oo, mahirap talaga kasi yung iba sa inuman lang kayo magkakasangga, pag tumaob na ang baso at may natumba na, wala na sa kanila ang hahawak sa kamay mo at susuporta, hayaan ka na lang naka subsob ang mukha sa sahig kasi tapos na ang kasiyahan...

Oo totoo yan, may mga kaibigan na sa kasiyahan lang pero pag nangailangan ka na sa kanila wala na sila paki-alam sau.

True friend yung kahit nasa anong sitwasyon ka man sa buhay mo eh maaasahan mo pa din.
